Forgotten

Why has the world, forgotten me, forgotten me?
Why do they hate, they used to love me used to love
me?
Why do the love, so much to mock me, they love to mock
me
I love them all, why do they laugh at me, what's to
become of me?
Am I a toy, something to rip apart, something to throw
away?
Is this my quest, that i must bear all this, i must
survive all this?

Why hast my world, forsaken me, all you forsaken me?
The world that i made, tries to test me, tries to make
me fall?
Do they want me gone, for them to be alone, they have
never been alone?
Why must i cry, it's their decision, unwise decision?
All that i've done, has been forgotten, my words
forgotten?
What must i do, to make them see, that i'm the real
thing?

Why has the world, forgotten me, forgotten me?
Am i a toy, something to rip apart, something to throw
away?
I love them all, why do they laugh at me, what's to
become of me?
Why hast my world, forsaken me, forsaken me?
Do they want me gone, for them to be alone, they have
never been alone?
Why must i cry, it's their decision, unwise decision?
Why has the world forgotten me, forgotten me?
Forgotten, even, me?

I think a lot of people feel this way at one time or another in their life. Maybe its how we feel about ourselves that count not depend on how others feel about us.
Im glad you are enjoying the site :)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
