Wishing never pays and dreamers never do
Caught in the same old cycle, caught by you
Raining always as ever, drops race down my window
The trees sway in the twilight, little details you refuse to know
Living under curtains, my pain and I sit on my knees
Screaming over emptiness and no one hears my pleas
Waiting for uncertainties, sitting in an ocean of guilt
We as the flowers, fade into black and we wilt
Never knowing what and always asking will
I have escaped the sorrow neverending, and I love you even still
