No matter how far the distance we live,
A friendship keeps us close by heart,
With lots of laughter plenty of tears,
A million hugs to take away our fears.
I count the stars each night,
A pray I leave on about 6 every time
1 for your happiness
2 for your safety
3 for every promise I keep
4 is a secret I can't say
5 for the amount of hugs I owe you each day
6 for the love we that bonded us together.
I make different wishes or prayers at night,
I've never found a friend as true as u,
We'll spend our summers together,
Nights wishing to float away,
Forever being friends till we're old and gray.
I can't express my whole heart to you,
You know me inside and out never leaving me blue,
I smile now cause I'm thinking of you,
Our minds are alike in so many ways.
Each day we're together god makes us stronger,
Each time we talk we find something new,
Each tear we cry is one more past memory gone,
Each time we smile we brighten one others day.
You my friend who has my heart,
As I have your's to protect,
A priceless friendship,
Memories are like a paper to put,
In a bottle to fill up and cherish
I know I'll love you till time to perish.
