I wonder what would have happened
Had I stayed out of the woods
Lost now, so lost, time is gone

Would history live again?
Does hope await?
I had gotten away, only to return

Wishing to be free
And no longer lost in this woods
In my mind, I still escape

Trees reach out
Calling my name
Deep inside, I want to stay
