I remeber those long nights,
Where I laid awake in bed.
Contemplating life or death,
To breath or cut off my air supply.
I roll over...
Would anyone miss me?
Would they even notice my absence?
No,
I'm nothing more than an enigma,
A speck of dust in their fast-paced lives.
I wonder...
Is it worth it,
To put my life under the knife?
No,
Just one more day,
Just two more days.
I will be noticed,
People will remember me.
I am better than this,
Death is the enigma,
Not me.
I will overcome,
I will move on.
I begin to breath again...

For someone who has never contemplated suicide, or hurting yourself, you capture the feelings very well. The ending was also very refreshing, and promising. For me, someone who has thought about suicide, this poem is a very touching poem.
