My problem is rarely underthinking
I start to think and keep rethinking
I'm not crazy or obsessive
My mind just seems to be aggressive
I often realize while deep in thought
I become unknowingly overwrought
I have a problem with overthinking
But tis better than being unthinking
My mind I know is more than functioning
It is most certainly not malfunctioning
I tend to think and then repeat
My thoughts just never seem complete
My problem is rarely underthinking
I start to think and keep rethinking

| I have this problem when I try to sleep. I just think and think and think. Thinking about the day, thinking about the future, thinking about what I should or shouldn't have done, thinking about what someone did to me, thinking about the past, angry, frustrating, lovely thoughts. There is so much to think about. But in the day when I am talking to people I don't think and that is what gets me in my most trouble, that and my hands. I really enjoyed this poem. |
