My Redemption

Contributed by TundraHydra on Sunday, 1st February 2004 @ 02:05:02 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Drifting all away
Not knowing what to say
Blind to the world around me
Wish it would be alright today

I dream of times long past
In a place where nothing lasts
For now I will sit and wait
All the time for me to contemplate

Chorus
This is my redemption
Living in a lie
This is my redemption
This is why I cry

Damn bastards killing time
Mocking my existence
Restraint constricting
Holy *****! Crashing forward
My mind conflicting

This ***** is too heavy to hold
I can’t carry on
Or so I am told
Now I am all alone

(Chorus)

Cry for an end to it all
Dead end in a wall
Can’t answer the call
Smile as I hit the end of the fall

Help won’t came
It never will
Sharpen that knife
As I swallow this pill

(Chorus)

Goodbye, goodbye
This is my redemption
This is the way of life
This is the best redemption
On the edge of a knife
