She hears the key in the door
she knows whats to come unable to run,
frozen and shaking with fear.
The shouting begins,
Things start to smash.
I hear her cry as she begs for him to stop
I wish i was not here anymore.
She's wishing she was stronger and a little wiser. Living on borrowed time, waiting to break free
she sits and looks at me.
I see the pain in her eyes,
her tear stained face as she gazes down at mine.
Here comes the line "dont worry things will be fine"
I wish i was not here anymore.

This is sad,well-written but sad,and if you are going through this difficult period,I can only wish you God's love in the abuser's heart and a special blessing from Him.I really don't know what to say......I'm really sorry for you.
