Kiss these tears away
And tell me everything will be fine
Turn my night to day
And help me clear my mind
Cause I don't want to remember his tricks
I don't want to remember how I got played
I just want my heart to be fixed
And I want you to please stay
He broke my heart in two
With just one angry glance
He'd make me think I wouldn't do
And then love me till my heart danced
Please save me from this lethal ectasy
Don't leave me here to die
Please look in my eyes and say you won't forget me
I don't need another reason to cry
And I don't want to remember his lies
I don't want to remember how I got hurt
Please look me in the eyes
And say you won't treat me like dirt
I'll remember the day I met you
Cause it was the day I found who I was
How much you've helped me, you'll have no clue
And I love you just because...
With you, I don't remember his face
Nor can I remember his voice
They're in the back of my mind, in a dark place
And they're there cause they had no choice
Please don't act like you don't care
Cause i know it kills for you to hear how I was treated
Let me run my fingers through your fine hair
And forget everything like it was all deleted
Stop trying to push me away
You don't want me to go
Please just let me stay
Can't you hear me screaming "Don't say no!"
I don't want to remember the pain
And I don't want to remember the nights of tears
I can't stand another time of standing in the rain
I need you to help me face my fears
I need to move on
But I want you by my side
Your the only one that makes the hurt be gone
And my love for you I can't hide.
