Abyss you gave me

I'd sit and wait for when you'd call my name,
I try so hard to sleep forever
until that day,
but even that scars of reality
haunt my dreams.
Wishing stars so far away
grasp on to a hope I only remembered.
Waiting for my hand
to hold it so close.

People of yesterdays never tasted
the same air I know you taste.
These tears that fall from lonliness
bleed holes into my broken heart,
creating memories monsters feed on.
I try so hard to sleep forever
until you call my name again,
but even the scars of reality
haunt my dreams.

Everything i once knew
fall to the abyss you gave me.
So I'll sleep forever
and be a sleeping beauty in my own right,
as i wait foever for you to call my name.
