I DON'T KNOW HOW WE GOT LIKE THIS
I MISS THIS MAN SO MUCH
I'VE LOVED HIM FOR SUCH A VERY LONG TIME
I ALSO MISS HIS TOUCH
I KNOW IT'S OVER TWENTY SOME ODD YEARS
AND THE THOUGHT OF NEVER SEEING HIM AGAIN
ONLY BRINGS ME TEARS
BUT, REALITY AS IT IS
I CAN NEVER WIN HIM BACK
SO, AS MUCH PAIN AND HURT IT BRINGS ME
I KNOW I'LL NEVER WIN
SO, IN ESSENCE I KNOW I MUST GO ON
TO START MY BRAND NEW LIFE
FOR I'LL ALWAYS KNOW THAT THIS MAN
ONCE CALLED ME WIFE!

Never give up hope...wherever there is breath of life, there is hope. Hope for a changed situation, a new life, a better life..maybe even though it doesn't seem so right now, in time, a better man. Who knows? Most of all an end to the addiction that caused the pain in the first place...wish I could hug your heart.
