I want to know, baby,
Why do you treat me so?
So many times I called,
And you answer not;
So many messages were sent,
Yet, I waited longer….
I want to know, baby,
Why do you punish me so?
You made me a promise,
Though you never kept it;
You give me a dream,
Then smash it, into thousand of pieces….
I need to know, baby,
Are you playing a game on me?
You apart when I approach,
You toy my feeling around your fingertips,
My heart is torn and bleed,
You left it to dry under the moonlight,
And that cutting breeze….
I am dying to know, baby,
What’s behind your untouchable heart?
Are you just playing hard to get?
Or am I chasing after a shadow?
All these tears,
Are more than I can take,
Give me a answer,
Show me a way!
So I may pull myself away,
From such sorrow and pain!

| Some people just don't have the decency to tell the person why they are treating them so, why they are avoiding them so. This poem is one of the things my heart is about. In life people come and go and I personally haven't gotten used to it yet, just leaves me with unanswered questions and hatred and anger. I went throuugh this recent;y AGAIN and this submittence from you was timely for me. Good write. |

Ever heard that country song...it has lyrics that say " the phone still ain't ringin' so I'm assumin it's still you?...For some reason your poem reminded me of those lyrics.

This doesnt remind me of a song... This could definitely BE a song... and an amazing one at that... so emotive, so meaningful, and it flows so well!
