Ode to My heart

Contributed by hawaii06 on Friday, 30th January 2004 @ 06:19:29 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

When you look at this Urn,
You will see how my life was turned.
When you see the pictures so clear,
You will see how I love my life so dear.

The picture of the jail cell,
Has helped my life so well.
My father left when I was three,
Never even looked back on me.
When I found out he was drinking beer,
I thought about the father I once loved so dear.
But as I got a little older,
I realized that in my life, he was just a boulder.

The second is of the house in my dreams,
I figured life is no longer a scheme.
Time is coming near,
When I leave the people I love so dear.
The house in Hawaii, with the perfect sight,
So much to see, it would be a delight.

The third is of the ocean blue,
I love surfing so much; no one even has a clue.
The wonderful high tide,
With the waves I love to ride.
The surf board under my feet,
I hope the water I never greet.
Getting better and better,
Hoping that I don’t get wetter.

So with this Urn,
You have seen what I have to learn.
Never follow the path of something bad,
If you do, your life will be forever sad.

Don't worry my dear, (hehe, I think I start to sound just like my grandad!) May be the path is winding and turning, but it will not forever going downhill, just be courageous and look ahead! Who knows, may be there is a paradise in the end of path!
