Crystalline Tears

Topic: AngryPoetry

Crystalline tears, dried quick, down my face
sliding down the valley that are my looks
running then trudging, before stopping their pace
I'm wondering how long the control really took
The cries, the fights, battles with myself
wondering when my life would be mine to take
blast the soul, collapse straight to hell
no need to pretend, no need to fake
lost composure, all signs of what I was
fall deeper, be the devil's prey
hands cut deep, down comes the blood
world swimming, everything runs grey
What am I worth?
grab the counter, lift my way from the fiery hole
There was reason for my birth
although for now, I have no goal
I stumble through, only because you tripped me
falling, crawling, crying, squaling
I scream at you to just let me be
You look stupidly, your tongue lolling
Your blows don't affect the meek any longer
for the meek are not the meek
how does it feel for the weak to be stronger?
how strong does it feel to be weak?
Hands thrown in defense, your weapon backs on you
the pain is yours to bear now
eyes filling with tears, eyes so blue
I don't know why, and i don't care how
the only thing I know is, things are in their rightful place
as crystalline tears, flow down YOUR face........

A very touching write that called to me.
