One troubled day blurring into the next
It is all such a sadistic charade nowadays
I regret being born; this sad life is hexed
Someday I’ll die. Someday I’ll fade away
Perhaps one day my wish will be retrieved
My mere mortal life will be a just a bad dream
Becoming déjà vu, never seen to be believed
From insignificant remains, my soul will beam
Will silver bullets provide me with emancipation?
Would a few simple pills grant me sweet release?
Can trenchant needles deliver my dire liberation?
Could a shimmering blade sanction wonderful peace?
Thoughts of the end forever swimming in my head
Alluring me, tempting me. Teasing me persistently
Notions of sweet salvation, to be gratefully dead.
At the risk of being erratic, pondering consistently.
Don’t be afraid, relish in the delicious pain you feel
Feel it pierce your skin, feel the beginning of the end
Blood courses from your veins slowly. Feel it congeal
Take your last breath, now let the battered soul mend

This is so sublime it's not really deserving to be in suicide poetry. You're one of the few people out there who possess complex, difficult rhymes and a catchy rythm to match. Good job. |
