Venting of Insanity

Contributed by monica109 on Friday, 30th January 2004 @ 02:42:06 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I don't know where I am
This feeling is so foregin and new.
Like being looked in a box the key barely out of reach!
Streching I can feel it, but I can't get it in my fingers!
My past bombards my heart,
Why did I do that crap, was it really me!
Am I really that person?
WHO AM I?
A ask my self all of the time, where am I going, where do I need to be?
I do everything in the name of you, trying to be selfless, but it's killing me.
This lifeless shell remains and the pain slips out.
WHAT DO YOU WHAT? WHO AM I?
I knew once but then she disappeared.
I pray she comes back but that I doubt, the venting of insanity!

Great poem, its something I, along with many others I'm guessing, can relate to. The subject to suicide is taboo, and needs to be openly discussed..and this is the perfect platform to do so. Excellent work! Check out my work sometime
