Grief

Being wheeled down the hallway
With doctors yelling and running franticly
“Code Blue” “Code Blue” Is all I heard
I know Code Blue is serious
But what I didn’t know was it was for me
I went in to have a baby
Not have doctors run frantic
To try and save me
But I found myself being pried and poked
And one guy telling me it will only hurt for a minute
Then all the lights went out
The room went quite
As my live less body lies there
I look up to find that I’m floating above
And the whispers I heard
No she is not ready to stay here
Send her back she has people to be near.
