I saw you
In the corner of my eye
You came out of nowhere
Your beautiful skin
Your incredible smile
You walked as if you had no worries
Gravity was forcefully pulling me towards you
I sat down
Not knowing what to say
Or what to do
Your voice was sweet and soft
You made me feel comfortable and calm
It was as if I knew you for years
Days pass
Our friendship continued to grow
I became so interested
I wanted to do everything within me
Anything to make you feel loved
Wanted
Anything to make you happy
I gave my all
I bared my feelings
I told you everything
How my life is better when with you
I am stronger
I want to work harder
Move faster
How I feel weightless
Continuously free-falling
Your deep brown eyes make me feel safe and secure
No one can harm me
I cannot be touched
How I try not to think about you
Try to see you as a friend
Try not to care
The harder I try, the more I think
You reside in my mind
Refusing to leave
How you make me hot and give me chills
How you can lift my spirits with just one word
How it hurts to need someone this much
You look in the mirror and see your reflection
You don’t like what you see
Why?
I see a handsome
Loving
Caring person
You have the ability to make me feel alive
Do you know how powerful that is?
How can you not realize how beautiful you make this world?
You listened to my heart
You heard my words
My feelings
My soul
“You’re too nice”, you said
“You’re my best friend”, you said
Trying not to breakdown
I turn away
Why not this time?
Why not you?
How many times will this happen?
How long must I be alone?
Am I not good enough?
What is so wrong with me?
What can I do to change your mind?
You are constantly searching
Searching for something I can give you
Something I long to be for you
Every week a different person
Different personality
Car
City
Hair style
Constantly searching
Every week you’re disappointed
Depressed
Lonely
You no longer have to be
You can end your search
Quit your quest
All you need is to look at him
The one staring you in the face
The one who knows everything about you
What you love
What you hate
What lifts you up
What pulls you down
Give me a chance
I can be all you’ll ever want and more
I will never leave you
Hurt you
Make you feel unwanted
I will always be there for you
I can be anything you want me to be
Take a chance on me
You’ll see

| Wow! that is so beautiful. I can really relate to it. I have feeling for my best friend too, but I don't know how to tell him. I hope it works out with you...then maybe there is hope for me |
