When I am lonely and feel despair
God lets me know that he is there
He gives me the strength to go on
Just before another dawn
He always gives me what I need
Because I love to do his deeds
He taught me to put my fears on a shelf
And to never every feel sorry for myself
When I am blinded by some sin I commit
I get on my knees and make up for it
He reminds me no matter what I do
That he will always come through
