WHEN YOU ARE GONE

Contributed by venusonearth on Thursday, 29th January 2004 @ 02:00:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When you are gone,
taking my heart and soul with you,
my life will still go on.
I may pretend that all's well
but only I can tell
the real meaning of emptiness,
A void, only you can fill.

When you are gone,
my eyes may remain dry,
but inside, my heart will silently cry.
and my soul will be waiting to be reborn.
All my love for you will be safely locked,
from the prying eyes of this world.

When you are gone,
the soft morning breeze touching me,
and the flowers shining with silvery dew,
will always make me think of you.
The sound of thunder on a stormy night,
will remind me of your passion.
The evening sky with streaks of warm gold,
as I walk into the twilight end,
will make me wonder
if you still remember and see
the beauty of OUR LOVE around you !
