hours of sweat
go into my
schoolwork
when Im all done
I stand back
and feel proud
but when I show
others
its never good enough
yanking
my pride away
and make me feel worthless
like I'll never
be able
to do anything right
I hope one day
they'll see
how hard I try

| Hey Monkey, good point. Nothing is ever good enough for this society. Once you reach the good enough mark, it's not good enough anymore, have to go beyond that. Still try won't ya. That is the only way to succeed. |

| Sadly most don't see effort and talent. But sometimes someone else does and a simple compliment will make you shine and give you a little more self confidence. I hope you find a good friend soon who sees how hard you try. Kie |

Monkey, I know how you feel. The only thing I can tell you is , that , no one will ever be fully satisfied with you. It is our nature to be greedy in our relasionships with other people. Too often we expect more of others, than of ourselves. Be happy with yourself. As long as you are that is what counts. The world will eventually understand, trust me.

| Yeah that is it! Do not let others put you down! In fact, if you talk a good looks at those people who criticize you, the chance are they not doing anything neither!!! Just stick on what you doing and be happy with your effort, as long as you know its the best you've try, let them talk however they like, so what! screw them! (*shrug*) ^_^ |
