His Love

Contributed by faith_my_eyes on Wednesday, 28th January 2004 @ 05:50:05 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Watching the candle flicker out
Extinguishing the light of my dreams
I watch the darkness of hopelessness set in.
But I am not down
For He is on my side
He loves me
He will help me reach the stars once again.
If I place my care in His undying love
I can only grow stronger and my candle can burn brigher
Because His love for me
Protects me in hardships
Supplies me with the strength to push forward
The Lord is my Light
The Lord protects me
The Lord will never shun me
No matter what people say or do to me
The Lord will welcome me
In His forever-loving arms.

I liked this especially how u know that God can pick u up from dark times. I find it understanding how u dwell more on God instead of the pain. I find I'm the opposite lol.

Hey, I really liked this one a lot! This is a great encouragement for me. Even though you were writing about yourself, I can feel it also. Keep up the good poems, they're awesome!

He brings us peace
In a world torn with sin
In His name we find rest
Peace within
Thanks for sharing this
beautiful poem
