Flat, dry
Scorching hot sun
barren, full of sadness
unforgiving prairie
when will receive
relief from this pain?
will we ever feel
the cool pitter patter of the rain
on this dusty place?
we plant seeds of hope,
but in return
get nothing.

Far too often can we compare this barrenness to the human soul...
Take care Em.
