Shall we walk then...

Shall we walk then,
In a place where people
Can still see us together.
Standing under the shimmer,
I can't promise you either
Everything, nor forever.
I love to walk with you,
Under the dew soaken leaves
Of a perfect summer eve,
To lace your eyes with love
To sow a perfect glove,
Made to fit you, for life,
May i be your wife?
Or if it's too much trouble for you,
Perhaps you'll ring me when,
I'm 22.
I'll be waiting still,
Beneath the window sill,
Right here beneath the infamous tree,
When once upon a time,
You kissed me...
