Yes I Could

Topic: SadPoetry

i know you
at least i did at one time
why does it happen?
these puzzles plague me again in my mind
should i call you?
it seems i've moved out of your taste
i can't remember
don't recall the meaning behind your face

i'm here the same
yes i know that things are different
nothing has changed
well i no i could be indifferent

here is the line
i've drawn myself behind a safeguard
what has it done?
there couldn't be anything this hard
do i exit again?
i always have found myself back inside
and as time goes
forget this part it should have died

i'm here as plain
yes i know that things are different
nothing to name
well i no i could be indifferent

as i'm thinking aloud as i'm dreaming to silent
it could be the proud in me making me violent
as i carry this sound as i let go of the feeling
the track record inside me feels so depleting

shove-off...
let go...
run away...
you know...

i'm here so vain
yes i know that things are different
nothing good came
well i no i could...
i could.
yes i could.
