Old School Fights!!

Walking through the halls
Looking around seeing all the kids
Some dressed in Goth
Some dressed in Punk
Some dressed in their gang colors
All of a sudden a fight awakens
In the already loaded halls
Two gang members are fighting for their colors
What may come of this?
Will there be death?
Or will it be stopped?
As the teachers
And assistant principles come
They finally break it up
But it does not end there
Later that week
There was total silence
I see a young girl crying
Hysterically
I asked what happened
Then over the intercom
They said Jose Consuelo has died
Later that day
In the paper
I read where a gang fight
Had broken out
A body lay limp
Over a banister
In front of city hall
Bullet holes throughout his body
I said to myself
It’s over
One did lose
But in the wrong way.
