By candlelight she lies
Her mind is blank
A blackout from fear
Of what may come
By candlelight she cries
She can't be saved
Subconscious tears
Slowly creep down
By candlelight she sighs
The clock stopped ticking
Grown old with wisdom
Too much to bear
By candlelight she dies
The cut is deep
An inviting blade
Rests by her side
