Love called in sick today
And my good day suddenly went away
I had it all in my hands,
only to have it slip through like sand
My heart you could sew with care
But no matter, you'd still see the tear
'Cause I thought I tamed a unicorn,
only to find depression had been born
This is just like some romantic story,
that ends with a great tragedy
I can feel the darkness coming from the lines
And they won't let me be at any time
Then when I try to tear away the classic pages
Something tells me I'll feel this pain through the ages
It's animosity has a grip on me,
and won't ever set me free
