The Honeymoon of the Teddies

Contributed by norm on Tuesday, 27th January 2004 @ 04:35:37 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

I consulted in the matter of the honeymoon,
Too bad, it wasn't the month of June,
Nevertheless, I took my very best guess,
And sent them on to Scotland's Loch Ness.

A braw moonlicht nicht, was the nicht that they loved,
And.. from their room, it was I that they shoved,
In the hall I awaited, till the noises abated,
To disturb them that nicht, would be horribly rated.

The following day, was a walk in the moors,
Then to fish in the brooks with appropriate lures,
Then an afternoon hike, and a ride on a bike,
There was nothing they did not to like.

Then a ride into town was a part of the deal,
A right-sided steering automobile,
Then back to the hut with a nap on their butt
Then a drive on the links and a putt.

A week of this showed with tours of the parks,
They both seem to be.. just as happy as larks,
Then, back to the plane with a trip in the rain
A great time was had by all, in the main.

Oh Norm, this is just so cute cuddly,
but what are you doing with the bears on their honeymoon. My Goodness, would you have wanted someone along when you went on yours? That takes a lot of nerve!
So glad they had a good time......now will you please leave the little bears alone....it's winter and they want to hibernate!
This poem was adorable.........and for that I will give it a five to rate!
