My Love

Contributed by DragonFly on Tuesday, 27th January 2004 @ 02:44:49 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It's only been a day
But I miss him like crazy.
Maybe it's because I know
There will be more days
Like this one.
It's going to be so hard.
I can't smell, see, or taste him.
My heart hurts already.
I haven't been hurt,
But it aches from absense.
I know by the time I see him,
We can be together.
All I want is him. All of him.
To feel his kiss on my lips.
To feel his breath on my skin.
To feel his love emanate from within.
When I look in his eyes,
I can see how much he cares.
When I feel his arms around me,
His love seeps through my pores.
I've never felt so much love for
Another like I do for him.
I can see us together, sleeping
In the same bed.
I love waking up next to him,
It puts a smile on my face, which puts a smile on his.
Everywhere I go I think of him.
I love him with all my heart,
From deep within.
