The Road to Nowhere!

Contributed by lowman613 on Tuesday, 27th January 2004 @ 12:48:33 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Sometimes I feel I'm walking on a road to nowhere,
Walking alone wishing one day I'd get there,
looking at things that pass me by,
not knowing where,when,& why,
searching for an open path way,
leading somewhere,so I pray,
so much has happened in the journeys end,
death,births, and creating new friends,
Walking slowly never got me far,
trying to follow the brightest star,
looking behind me once in a while,
as I walk each & every mile,
Once I get where I'm suppose to be,
than I can relax, and be just me,
The road to life is curvy & rough,
walking it alone I found was tough,
but makes you all more stronger & wise,
getting through the journey is your prize,
The road to nowhere has an end,
you'll find it where the road slightly bends!

I loved the ending. A beautiful, inspiring poem, one to be read many times.

Great Poem. I liked it alot. I'm going to agree with Kie on that the line "The road to nowhere has an end,
you'll find it where the road slightly bends!"
it's really good, I like that line alot.
