Did you ever feel a great unease
that you couldn’t quite define?
Or feel icy fingertips
crawl up and down your spine?
( That’s me, that is ! )
Did you ever hear your name
and turn to find there’s no one there?
Have you ever felt a shiver
or a chilling of the air?
( That’s me, that is ! )
Did you ever wake at night
and feel a presence in your room?
Or heard unpleasant laughter
echo in the gloom?
( That’s me, that is ! )
Have you ever seen a vision
of your last and painful breath?
Or read a poem written by
the agent of your death?
( That’s me, that is ! )

| That was you all this time..... And here I was thinking it's Bloody Mary or the boogey man. (J.K) Really good write... You know you did a magnificent job asking the question and completing the question. That's the hook and the rhyme scheme is clever and well thought out. Extremely talented piece of writting these little script writes are great in theatrical plays look into it you never know.... |
