Oblivion's Sweet Call

Suicide

I thought I loved you
My heart was open
But then you hurt me
Left it bleeding and broken
I had faith in your love
You said it was true
My trust was destroyed
Because of you
My life has no meaning
Everything is black
With what I know now
I wish I could go back
I dream about death
Release from this pain
As I stare out the window
Looking at the rain
I finally have the courage
To get away from it all
To fall into darkness
Answer oblivion's sweet call
I grab hold of the knife
Feel it slide across my wrist
And I think of the first time
That we ever kissed
The blood flows freely
Rolling down my hand
I look down to the floor
And see the drops land
The room starts to spin
Then everything goes black
I'm too lost to save now
I can never go back
I feel the pain leave
As the darkness takes hold
My mouth forms a smile
As my body turns cold
