On One Knee.

Contributed by 13hopes on Monday, 26th January 2004 @ 10:23:17 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Everything in life that one man can wish for, everything that this one man can dream. Is all but time away. I will never give up my sweet, as hard as it may seem.

I took your hand in mine, and looked you in the eye, i am glad it was dark, you could not see me cry. Remember when i gave you my number, not long after we met. The night i placed it in your hand, it was almost all from me you could get.

When we returned to the hill, we were in each others arms. Locked in a loving gaze, eye to eye, completely i was lost in your charm. The gentle kiss from your lips, you so much i miss.

Every word i heard you say, makes me smile so much. Evey day i open my eyes, i long for your touch. Lifeless is what i feel , when your not around. Thats why that night up the hill, i put one knee on the ground.

Your hand in mine as i began to kneel, i wanted to speak full of how i feel. When we are together, everything i try to say, doenst seem to come out right, just in a muddled up way.

Lowering my head as i knelt, i cannot describe what i felt. Never befor these emotions ive known, my love for you have grown.

I still cant quite get into word exactly what i tried to say. So i tried for you, to say it another way.

One knee upon the ground. Just you and me. What i was trying to say, i hope that you could see. My eyes fell from your face, as my gaze fell upon the ground, i could not make a sound.

My number gave you most, this gave you all the rest. I guess what i am trying to say, " My Sweet You Are The Best "

Oh, by the way. :) for when i got home. Missing you dearly, need is something i understand now, so you dont have to grab me and shake me...
