In April, sung of rainbow clouds and feathered fancies plush in bloom
In august, sung of memories and apple pie lit strawberry moons.
October sang she for the world, of oceans blue from up above
November, sang of stealing hearts bewildered beasts, and flights with dove
Yet come December she did not sing,
but once, of 5 golden rings
January, February saved her voice from cold and silenced for a while,
Until the end of March was mute,
To sing once more,
of April’s child.
