I guess this is where
I'm supposed to type my poem...
I sigh...my hands are heavy on the keyboard.
I don't want to write a poem.
I don't want to do anything
right now.
My words seem awkward, my thoughts vague.

(The pixels blur)
But I do want to die.
i'm shivering...
maybe i should go to bed...
But I do want to die...
i try to distract myself.
I look at the posters on the wall.
i look at myself.
I look at the scars searing my body
the scars searing my body
I see the mirror.
i see my eyes
...and into the sullen pool I dive.
I don't want to write a poem.
I don't want to do anything
right now.
My frail body trembles in the tornado of my memories...
I try to cover up
I try to cover up
as the wind
tears my flesh from my bones
...try to cover up
and the river runs red
