what am i feeling?

so I sit where it seems no one can reach me.

where birds fly and dreams float away.

i look out into the dark on this endless summer night, and think of you.

you are always on my mind. you entangle me with your essence.

a disease plauges me. it tears my heart out and crushes it, it smothers me in my sleep with dreams. no, not dreams, nightmares.

it racks my brain with ifs, and, but and why.

if i had done differently
and had made it better for you
but i messed up
why dont you want me?

i wish i could find a cure for this illness that is dragging me down.

if it is good or bad, i need something.
