I watch you from the far pavilions,
From a certain dimension,
Of space you call oblivion,
Tick tock., tick tock,
And the hands of the clock,
Sketch a transition,
Of sixty precious diamonds,
Into one Golden Hour,
‘Fly away …little bird of moments
Fly away!’ you say,
And rest like a baby in the arms of slumber,
But you know that that I watch you,
As you let my birds wander,
The aviary is disintegrating,
‘Tis not far that I shall catch you,
Turn around whilst the sun sets on history,
Turn around before your present becomes misery,
If you should ever want to caress a better tomorrow,
Turn around now before the end of season,
And the plough the fields of vigor and thought,
And save your self from untimely wrath,
Treasures are gone and minutes have slipped,
Now I warn you to be well equipped,
I’m no tyrant, despot or a tempest in rage,
I’m only a silent keeper;
Of this mystic merry go round,
In the center of a fair called the Universe,
Along with me you’ve been playing the game,
I assume therefore that you know my name,
Along with me you’ve been playing the game,
I assume therefore that you know my name,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Goes the grandfather’s clock,
Its copper pendulum sways,
As mankind plays,
And I watch and admonish from the far pavilions,
Till you respect my existence and wait…to listen.
