My prints are the prints you saw in the sand
Right beside yours while I held your hand
Not by yourself, but with Me do My will
And when it is empty, your cup I shall fill
You thought you had walked along all alone
You thought there was no one on that long winding road
But when you asked Me, I told you, "My son...
I was with you in your pain and in your fun!
You'll never be lonely, not ever again
It's done, it is over your life of sin.
In the good times I'll be there right by your side
In the bad times I'll be there to give you a ride

That was really good. I love the 'Footprints' poem. I like it even though I'm no longer religeous in that way. This was a very good write. I could feel the same idea behind it. |
