O Mother! The crest of the Holy Scripture
Bear thy lustrous feet as its head ornament,
And art kissed by God in His sport of love
May Thou place those feet on my head too!
&
O Mother! The heavenly damsels who dance
At thy lotus feet always desire to shower love
And wealth with pleasure on poor and humble
Devotees and mock at the Goddess of fortune!
&
Thy feet form the veritable bunch of fragrant
Hibiscus dripping the honey of beauty and art
A liberal supplier of wealth to thy devotees, let
My spirit become a bee to drink honey from it!
&
The disk of the Sun that arose on the horizon
Of my heart assumed the form of a crystalline
Mirror for Thee, now reflects thy beautiful face
As my soul enjoys Thy lovely blissful presence!
&
O mother of holy flame! The lotus of thy feet
That flourishes always in the lake of my heart
Blooming night and day bestow nectarine delight
To the poets who ever read me each day and night!
