Do You Remember?

We grew up together
and we have been friends forever...

Thourgh the good times
and bad,
No matter the reason,
the happy the sad.

You have been there for me
when my dad died,
you gave a shoulder to
lean on and cry.

Do you rember
when we were five
you fell down the stairs
and began to cry.

Little by little we
began to change over the years.
Now time has come
to shed all tears the tears

The skidding tires,
the shattered glass,
the horrifying scream
I heard last.

God took you for his reasons
that I cannot control.
Even though i didnt want to
I had to let you go.
