someone special

Contributed by fandy on Saturday, 24th January 2004 @ 10:08:01 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

There is this someone
Who is my love,
When I first saw him,
I knew he was from up above.

I knew I had no chance
of him being mine,
But the idea
kept running through my mind.

I saw him in the hall
And he let out a smile.
Then I realized
It drove me wild!

Do I have a chance?
Would he laugh at me,
Or bring me to the life of romance...

Ah.... love at first sight. such a wonderful thing to behold. Just try and your "someone special" is sure to fall for your charm and wit. That's all that matters. That he likes you for who you are and not for what you look like or what you wear. It worked with me. Got me Nathan. You know that story though...

Good poem, the rhyming scheme in the first 3 stanzas is perfect. You write well.
