I am the serpent
You are my prey
Of my feelings for you I cannot say
For you don't see me in that way
Your heart is filled with fear
When you know that I am near
I try to hold you, yet always in vain
For my lips are sealed with pain
Your lightening speed, your quickened pace
Leaves sorrowful water upon my face
You are my love, yet you refuse to give
Which makes my life not worthy to live

| If you weren't my brother I'd say this was damn good poetry. But since you are this is really damn good poetry. Good work bro short and sweet. The ending is the best "You are my love, yet you refuse to give...Which makes my life not worthy to live" Well done I hope you post some more!!! |
