The scarlet Maiden paces the night,
With lips as red and skin as white,
As a rouge candle’s sweet, soft light,
Her figure makes dark minds bright.
Se knocks a first upon your door,
Beckons “leave your wife, armour,
And come, let’s break religious law”
She removes her cloak, reveals some more.
How quickly they stand,
Grasp her hand,
And beg her to take them
To some scarlet land.
Where it is just them,
Two by the sun,
Nothing but wild skin,
Sex and mad fun.
Instead she leads them
To a strange room in their mind
Which, all alone, they would
Never find.
There they exchange kisses,
In a cold room, alone,
And though he’ll soon wake, in his bed,
He never really got home.
