Good morning, Sleepyhead it's time to start a new day
Little Billy hears his Mommy say from the doorway
So he climbs out of bed and hurries to get dressed
While Daddy comes downstairs looking his best
Mommy looks up from preparing the morning meal and smiles at her husband
They share a loving kiss as little Billy rushes in
Then they all sit to feast on a Champion's breakfast
Suddenly Daddy notices the time and downs his juice real fast
Folds his newspaper and stands, hugging his son and his wife
And waves to them both as he leaves in a hurried stride
Then Mommy fixes Billy's lunch and walks him to then bus
Only after does she step back inside, sighing from the rush
Back to Daddy who is hurrying to work
Then suddenly we hear a bellow of foul words
No wait, it's little Billy on the bus
By golly! Where did he learn to cus
Must be from Daddy who screams obsceneties as he cuts people off
Or Mommy back home? Is that a...joint? Well it makes her cough
Did that little one just call Billy a bully?
Oh my lord, he just punched him! How could he?
And Daddy takes someone's parking spot before he rushes inside
Then leans down deeply kisses his secretary with nothing to hide
I can't believe my eyes.. I can't believe my eyes..
Mommy just took a hyperdermic needle from her table at bedside
And little Billy ignores the driver's shouts as he pounds the boy who cries
What has happened to this family that America-made?
Good lord, it's as if they've all gone insane!
The secretary and Daddy's clothes are all over the place
And Little Billy keeps punching while blood splashes his face
And Mommy.. oh Mommy.. she's an addict to boot
She desperately tries to hide the track mark in her foot
And myself, the narrator has just had enough
I'm leaving this "Apple Pie Family" for a bottle of whiskey and my transvestite boyfriend, Buff!
