Mother: A tribute to what is to come.

Contributed by spiffyphil on Friday, 23rd January 2004 @ 09:01:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Our words dont exuberate enough emotion,
Could they describe love so immense?
A mothers love - the love taken for granted,
Love that can no longer be consumed,
Love that fuels every restlessness,
How to describe every stabbing sorry,
When fading faces frustrate you,
A mothers voice could heal your ills,
And at the same time - drop your heart,
Five years and I still can't write about it,
but how does one write about it?
Love - everyone has thier own definition,
So the bottom line is as it always was,
Our words dont exuberate enough emotion.
Never less, I will try enduringly,
and it will be from all my heart,
All of my ability to press upon emotion,
this isn't a poem - this is a tribute,
A tribute to what is to come - finally.

Christina, I know what its like, stay strong. It absolutely makes you a better, stronger person - even at such an immense sacrafice this kind of experience teaches you alot, and if anything kicks you in the ass - in the RIGHT direction.

When Im done with this poem - take some time to absorb it because im sure someone out there can agree with everything I have to say about this sort of situation. Its human - really nothing else describes it and it defines us. If you want me to email you when I post the poem, send me an email at spiffyphil@earthlink.net . Peace.
