_________________________
banging on fences
collective memory of noise
rising above the horizon
like delicate plumes of smoke
dancing off into the sky
blinded by prisms - your eyes
kaleidoscope of colors
I never realized you were so strong
drawn against a blank canvas
heralded in the night
singing sweet anthems
childhood lullaby rocks
drumming on the table
steady beat - heartbeat
I was almost ready to talk
thought I had something to say
but decided against it
when all signs pointed due north
