Miracle

Contributed by wachumiri on Thursday, 22nd January 2004 @ 11:06:52 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

A miracle, how God made man
And formed us with His mighty hand

And greater still, how He loved me
His blood was spilt, crucified, on Calvary

And while men spat upon His face
He paid their pardon, by His grace

Like a lamb, unto the slaughter,
He died to save each son and daughter

A miracle of love was done
When God the Father sent His Son

Not at all bad, cousin. I hope that sounds properly condescending, since I am older than you. But this one is really very good. His love is a Miracle indeed.

This is a great reminder for those of us who struggle with our own worth and have forgotten what a miracle love truly is. Thank you for that.
