Dream or not?

Contributed by Necromant on Thursday, 22nd January 2004 @ 08:57:42 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Moving with supernatural agility he grabbed her hair,
She didn’t detect him coming, no time to prepare,
Turning to look at his scarred face, she saw no mercy,
She felt hands tracing her body, breath becoming jerky

Pain erupted from her leg, as his knife dug into her flesh,
He stripped her and locked their bodies in a perfect mesh,
Hopeless she resigned to her fate, lying there on the floor,
But nothing happened; she woke up at the sound of the door,

Was it a dream? Or was it real? Looking down at her leg she screamed,
A small scar spotted her leg; nothing was as unreal as it seemed!

.....Looking down at her leg she screamed, a small scar spotted her leg; nothing was as unreal as it seemed! 'Arhhh!' She screamed again and shivers! 'Hey hey! Are you ok? Look at me! Look at me!' Opened her eys, she saw a worried face right in front of her; 'You been dreaming again! Ohhhh Anne, too much of horror films and dark poems got to your head! But don't be scared, I am here now... I am here now.........' It is him, the Whisper-of-night. Anne sigh with relief, closed her eyes, listen to the gentle whispers, and slowly she fall into a sound sleep......
Hehe, how do you like it end this way? ^_^

I thought this was really interesting, ya know? I mean, to think about if it really *was* real or not.

I absolutely loved it.
