Why Did You Wreck My Song?

I walk through my song,
Content as can be.
I watch as the notes pass by,
Singing happily.
But I stop,
At a foreign rest,
Confused,
Out of breath.
My critical note is being changed,
The mood of my song is now rearranged.
I wander, blind
Across my song.
My notes are ruined,
The music is all wrong!
I despair,
The cruelty is unfair!
I want to cave in,
Thre is no more hope.
My song is dead,
But my still my feet grope.
The one that changed my note,
I will never forgive.
For they have caused
My soul to die,
But my body,
To live.
